Employee Community Involvement
Our employees have a strong connection to the community, and they give their time, talent, and resources to bring about lasting change.
United Way Campaign
Employees contribute generously to our United Way campaign by annually donating hundreds of thousands of dollars in financial pledges to benefit our community. Our employees also volunteer their time to community projects such as painting and repairing docks at a kids' camp or preparing a site for a new playground at a family centre; all part of the United Way Day of Caring.
Toys for Tots
For the past 35 years, starting as a CMBC-led initiative, now employees across the enterprise, have donated well over 2,000 toys each year to help make dreams come true for children at Christmas. As part of the annual campaign, our very own Santa, onboard a fleet of a reindeer-decorated bus, picks up toys donated by our employees, and delivers them directly to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.
Children's Hospital
Every year, we support the Children's Hospital Jeans Day by sporting our jeans, wearing buttons, and collectively raising over $3,000 each year.
